Our firm actively represents business owners in commercial litigation, contract drafting, worker's compensation defense, labor and employment and all other aspects of business representation and advice. The firm has an active appellate court practice and its members are licensed to practice in state and federal courts including the United States Supreme Court. Both Mr. Johnson and Mr. McLaughlin are admitted to practice law in Washington and Alaska. Our firm also handles personal matters for our clients including employment law, family law, estate planning issues, personal injury cases, real property and land use issues. The law firm of MANN, JOHNSON, WOOSTER & McLAUGHLIN, P.S. had its beginning as the firm of HODGE & MANN (composed of Earl D. Mann and Richard R. Hodge, founded in 1947). HODGE, MANN, COPELAND & KING, formed on July 1, 1970, as a merger of Hodge and Mann with COPELAND, KING & SCRAGGIN (composed of Robert W. Copeland, Stanley R. King and Gordon A. Scraggin), and ANDERSON & BINGHAM (composed of Murray J. Anderson and Quinby R. Bingham). Richard Hodge died in 1972 and Robert Copeland in 1973, and the firm name became MANN, KING, ANDERSON, BINGHAM & SCRAGGIN. In 1987, Garold E. Johnson joined the firm as an associate, becoming a partner in 1990. On November 1, 1991, the firm name was changed to MANN & JOHNSON. On November 15, 1991, Richard H. Wooster joined the firm as a partner. On June 1, 1992, Robert J. McLaughlin joined the firm as a partner. Earl D. Mann passed away on January 11, 1995. His name and memory will always be a part of this firm. On August 1, 1995, the firm name was changed to MANN, JOHNSON, WOOSTER & MCLAUGHLIN, P.S. Eric Ohme joined the firm as an associate attorney in September 1998.
